Email Security Update
We are always looking for ways to improve security on our systems and recently we rolled out an update to better secure email. We’ve moved from unencrypted to encrypted communication on our email hosting to eliminate the warning messages that occasionally show themselves and protect ourselves and our customers from the ever growing serious threats on the internet.
If you would like the update added to your email program, tablet, or phone, please call our office. Or read more to see the specifics to do it yourself.
If you are tech savvy and wish to update the settings yourself (and you host with us), here are the new settings to use in Outlook, Thunderbird, or Mac Mail:
IMAP Settings-
Incoming Server: mail.techlabhq.com
Incoming Port: 993
SSL = YES/ON
Authentication Required.
Outgoing Server: mail.techlabhq.com
Port: 465
SSL = YES/ON
Authentication required, same as incoming server.
To our customers on POP3 for email, please call our office for the specifics.
If at any time, you want to check your email through our secure website, you can access it via this link: Tech Lab Webmail. Log in with your email address and your email password. Thank you for your continued support!
